Yet, every problem has a solution!
There is a reason that Doctors are in a lab trying to cure an incurable disease. There is a solution..
There is a reason why scientists never gave up on sending people into space. It seemed impossible but someone believed there was a solution to get Neil Armstrong from earth to the moon.
If you have a problem today, I have good news for you. Every problem has a solution!
The woman with the issue of blood (Luke 8:43) searched for a solution for 12 years. She never gave up looking for a cure. Her unrelenting search brought her in contact with Jesus.
If we will continue our thorough search for a solution we maybe be surprised at the unexpected solution..

Welcome to Redemption Church! My name is Chris Fluitt. I am so blessed to be a father, a husband, and a pastor to this Great Church in Plano Tx.

Last week we talked about Unexpected Disasters and the Unexpected Opportunity that is present in any trouble.
Today I want to talk to you about Unexpected Solution
Life is filled with problems. We know this all too well.
Every problem has a solution.
There is a reason that Doctors are in a lab trying to cure an incurable disease. There is a solution..
There is a reason why scientists never gave up on sending people into space. It seemed impossible but someone believed there was a solution to get Neil Armstrong from earth to the moon.
Every problem has a solution!
If you have a problem today, I have good news for you.
Problem in your marriage..
Children…
Health…
In our City or Nation…
No matter the problem, YOU NEED TO BELIEVE there is a solution.
But you don’t understand… I have had this problem so long… I have been told by all the experts… I have a pre-existing condition…
Luke 8:43 And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years, but no one could heal her.(NIV)
Luke 8:44 She came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak, and immediately her bleeding stopped.(NIV)
Luke 8:45 “Who touched me?” Jesus asked. When they all denied it, Peter said, “Master, the people are crowding and pressing against you.”(NIV)
Luke 8:46 But Jesus said, “Someone touched me; I know that power has gone out from me.”(NIV)
Luke 8:47 Then the woman, seeing that she could not go unnoticed, came trembling and fell at his feet. In the presence of all the people, she told why she had touched him and how she had been instantly healed.(NIV)
Luke 8:48 Then he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace.”(NIV)
She was told by every doctor.. every healer.. she tried everything for 12 years! BUT SHE NEVER GAVE UP!
Have you given up on your solution?
This woman kept searching for a solution… THAT IS FAITH. She was searching for a solution and in the middle of the search decided to try Jesus.
Coming to faith in Jesus is not silly or weak minded… It simply being thorough in your search for a solution.
Life is full of Unexpected Solutions
Disease is cured by serum taken from people who had been infected with the disease…
Your car is slipping on the road, you need to turn into the slip…
Parenting and relationships often have unexpected solutions… Turns out YOU DO NEED TO CHANGE! Who knew!?
You want to make a point with someone… first listen to them
Pride trends down yet humility trends up
Solutions are often Non-intuitive and fly in the face of logic sometimes..
The World needs a solution
We need saving. We have not found the solution yet.
When the world needed saving… who did God send? Not Rambo, not Arnold..
A carpenters son
From Gallillee
Not good looking
No earthly offices or titles
Born in a manger
A rag tag group of disciples
That seems like a TERRIBLE IDEA right…? It is so unexpected that even the people who knew the prophecies did not see it coming. Even the people Jesus told point blank what God was going to do… they did not see it coming.
So God sends this savior and…
Death
He dies.
Buried
He is put into a tomb.
This doesn’t seem like a solution at this point.
This seems like a failure.
Could it be that the thing in front of you that looks like a failure… It could be the Solution.?
Resurrected
It looked impossible the entire time. Not just when he died and was buried… but on day one as a baby in manger in danger of being killed by King Herod.
1 Corinthians 15:3 For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,(NIV)
1 Corinthians 15:4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,(NIV)
Jesus is the unexpected solution.
You need a death
Romans 6:6 For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin–(NIV)
You need a burial
Romans 6:4 We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death…
You need a resurrection
Romans 6:4 …in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.(NIV)
You need a solution today. You have looked everywhere for it.
You are here today being presented with an unexpected solution… You might say this is weird and turn and walk away…
But what if you reached out to Jesus like the woman with the issue of blood? What if you were thorough in your search of a solution.
It doesn’t have to make sense… it just needs to work!
