START HERE!
A 21 day jumpstart to build the habits and vision you actually want in 2026.
Start Here 21 day journal is part of our January message series at Redemption Church in Plano. It is for anyone who is tired of starting strong in January and feeling stuck again by February. Through this 21 day journal and our Sunday afternoon services we will help you build a clear vision with Jesus and simple daily steps you can actually take.
What is Start Here?
Start Here is a January message series and a 21 day journal from Redemption Church in Plano. It is for anyone who is tired of starting strong in January and feeling stuck again by February. We will help you build a clear vision with Jesus and simple daily steps you can actually take.
- Talk honestly about why resolutions usually do not last
- Help you see what matters most in your faith, family, health, work, and finances
- Turn big picture vision into small daily steps you can actually do
- Give you tools to walk with Jesus daily, not just try harder for a few weeks
Four Sundays to start your year strong
Each Sunday in January we will focus on one big idea and one simple step. The goal is not just to listen to messages but to build a new direction with Jesus.
Week 1 – January 4
Stuck Again? How to See and Move Toward Your Future
We start by naming the feeling of “new year, same me” and showing that Jesus really does have a future for you. You will begin writing a simple, Jesus-centered vision for the areas of life that matter most – faith, family, friendships, work/school, finances, and health.
Week 2 – January 11
Burned Out On Resolutions? Small Steps, Lasting Change
This is the vision stacking week. We move from vague resolutions to a clear plan: year vision → 90 days → 30 days → this week → today. You will learn how God works through small, faithful steps and how to build simple systems around the vision He gives you.
Week 3 – January 18
Why You Will Not Fail This Year – The Habit Fix
Most people are not hopeless – their habits and environments are just misaligned. This week is about cues, environment, and community. You will learn how to arrange your life around Jesus so connection becomes normal, not rare, and how to fix one or two key habits with small changes.
Week 4 – January 25
Find Your Next Step: Discover Your Direction
You may not know your whole future, but you can know your next step. We will pull the month together and help you identify one clear next step with God – spiritual, relational, or practical – and actually write it down and act on it.
Sundays at 4:30 pm · Redemption Church · 2001 Independence Parkway, Plano, Texas 75075
