You are called to be a problem solver.
-Your problems
-The problems of those around you
Do you have enough faith to save someone?
Feels like a trick question.
-I’m not the savior.
Luke 5:18-20 (NIV)
18 Some men came carrying a paralyzed man on a mat and tried to take him into the house to lay him before Jesus. 19 When they could not find a way to do this because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and lowered him on his mat through the tiles into the middle of the crowd, right in front of Jesus.
20 When Jesus saw their faith, he said, “Friend, your sins are forgiven.”
Some men, paralyzed man, & Jesus
What did the men do?
-Recognized the problem
-Brought their friend
What did the paralyzed man do?
-Nothing. He has a problem.
What did Jesus do?
-Saw the faith of who? (problem solvers)
-Forgave the sins of the man. Salvation
-Solved the problem
Do you have enough faith to save someone?
The faith of the men brought the paralyzed man to salvation.
Do you have enough faith to be a problem solver? – Save someone.
-Believe you can
-Contribute
-Give advice
-be a support
-you can make a difference

Be ready to connect the problem to the solution.
Sickness – Healing

Loneliness – Friendship
Loss – Promise Keeper
The men in Luke 5 brought… bought their friend to the ultimate problem solver.
-They believed Jesus was the solution.
-Do you believe Jesus is the solution?
